Fun to play and funny to look at, the ugly stick is one of the most unique and iconic traditional Newfoundland instruments! No two are alike, and no kitchen party or cabin party should be without at least one!

These hand-crafted, locally made ugly sticks have a classic design, with a polished driftwood body, mop-top face, beer-cap jingles and a rubber boot for stomping, and comes complete with a notched wooden "banger" to get that real "scrape and thwack" sound!

Each of these "breakdown" ugly sticks is also collapsible: by removing the pin you can break it down into two pieces for ease of travel and storage, without sacrificing any of its solidity or playability when re-assembled!
